CECO opened its doors in 2001 with the support of families who wanted a program that would challenge their children with motor disabilities to acquire new skills and greater independence. CECO’s mission is to combine physical and social educational methods to meet the unique needs of children with motor and cognitive disabilities. Since its inception, CECO has expanded its programs to meet the needs of children with motor disabilities in Central Florida and around the world. CECO runs a private school, after school programs, in home therapy, early intervention classes and summer camps. All of CECO’s programs infuse motor therapy into a life skill building curriculum focused on increasing the independence of children with motor disabilities.
