Meet the Owners: Stephen Box, owner of Contender Construction and Roofing Group and Altura Construction, has been working in the construction industry for over 10 years. He grew up in Alvin, Texas and resides in Houston, Texas. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce and holds a BBA in Finance. He has owned and managed Altura Construction LLC in Houston since 2009. His construction experience ranges from new home construction to large custom remodels and additions. Stephen enjoys hunting and traveling with his wife and 2 children. Trey Pugh, owner of Contender Construction and Roofing Group and GAP Construction is a resident of Santa Fe, Texas. He is a graduate of New Mexico State University and holds a BBA in Business Administration. Trey has proudly owned and operated GAP Construction LLC for 12 years. He enjoys fishing, golfing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Combining their skills, knowledge, and passion of the construction industry, Stephen and Trey decided to tackle a business endeavor together and create Contender Construction and Roofing Group in 2012 Home repair can be a daunting challenge, especially after a natural disaster or unforeseen circumstance.
