We asked Kristen S., what #powersyoursoul? "Mermaid Pose! When I first saw someone do this mermaid variation I was inspired to try it and realized it was going to take a lot of work to get there. After a year of yoga every day, this pose continues to be a measure of how far I've come in my own yoga practice. Really love how this pose feels, the backbend & balance of it and this quote fits me too 'I must be a mermaid...I have no fear of depths & a great fear of shallow living.' "- Kristen S. We asked PYTT coach, Casey Hubbell, what #powersyoursoul? "Sirsasana Headstand was a pose that gave me the confidence to play or try other inversions. I never thought I would be capable to do Sirsasana, especially on a paddle board! I love the friends I have made from Teacher Training and in the CorePower community. This pic is from my birthday yoga class with dear friends and fellow teachers." - Casey H. Interested in the next Power Yoga Teacher Training? Email: email@example.com
We asked PYTT coach, Mary Hazen, what #powersyoursoul? "Eight-angle pose (Astavakrasana) powers my soul because for me, arm balancing postures are a journey through frustration where I am challenged to let go of achieving the pose and instead allow myself enjoy the journey (especially when I fall on my butt!). Although I have a natural tendency toward perfectionism, Teacher Training taught me how beautiful and necessary imperfections are in life and in yoga practice. Now, I am better able to embrace my own imperfections; whether it be falling out of Astavakrasana or lessons off of my yoga mat." - Mary H. Interested in the next Power Yoga Teacher Training?
