Corey’s Sound Foundation for Autism was founded in 2011 by the Jenkins family , after their son Corey was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). One year later, Corey's twin brother, CJ was diagnosed as well. Corey and CJ are on different spectrums of the Autism scale. What started out as a vehicle to raise funds for Autism research, has now become a beacon of support for families affected by ASD as well as a platform driven to educating the world. The name, Corey’s Sound, was derived from Corey’s love of music. Music is a motivating factor and has proven to be the best teaching form for Corey. Corey’s Sound is currently developing a lecture series entitled: Take a Walk in My Shoes! The purpose of this lecture is to educate and help churches, as well as other establishments, recognize the needs of families with Autistic children. Corey’s Sound also offers a support group entitled: SoundCheck. This group meets once a month and it's sole purpose is to provide an outlet where families affected by ASD can come, relax, and talk with other families also affected.Company Rating

HOW WE WORK The ACLU-MO is just one affiliate in a 50-state network of ACLU offices coordinated by a national office in New York and aided by a legislative office in Washington that lobbies Congress. As an affiliate, the ACLU-MO operates on an autonomous basis, making its own decisions about which cases to take and which issues to emphasize, in collaboration with the pursuit of common national organization goals.
