Description

Cormac Neeson is a highly successful professional singer, songwriter and recording artist. He has spent the last 10 years touring the world alongside legends of the music world such as ACDC, The Rolling Stones, Paul Rodgers and Aerosmith to name but a few. Cormac has released 5 studio albums in that time with his band The Answer, selling over 250,000 copies worldwide and as recently as March of this year achieved a number 1 rock record in the UK National charts. He is considered by many amongst the Rock fraternity to be one of the best singers in the world… a claim backed up by countless reviews in such magazines as Classic Rock Magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine, Kerrang, as well as substantial airplay on UK, Irish, European, American and Japanese radio and Television including BBC Radio 1, MTV, The Letterman Show and much much more. For the last year and a half, when not touring the world, Cormac has been teaching singing and songwriting lessons to students via the Ossia School of Music. He has also conducted a series of rock schools and songwriting workshops from his Ossia base in Belfast. Cormac places a lot of value on the need to develop a singer’s confidence and stage presence in order to equip them for the big, and sometimes daunting world of the music industry. He nevertheless allows the students to dictate the targets and goals to which they will strive towards together. Whether that is simply getting a song ready for a gig, working on range and stamina or going for UCAS point earning exams (via the Rock School syllabus), Cormac’s teaching style is easy and fun; just the way music should be.
