Description

Corner House Concerts is an ongoing series of intimate, house concert-style performances in an intimate 50 seat space in the back room of a coffee shop in Lubbock, Texas. It is quite simply the coolest place in Lubbock and serves an incredibly diverse clientele from the community and nearby from Texas Tech University. The series is curated by musician/professor Roger Landes who aims to provide a welcoming performance environment for touring musicians who need a booking in west TX as well as community members whose music may not fit in any of the other venues in town. The series is basically not-for-profit, with 100% of proceeds (less expenses) going to the performers. The music will be amazingly diverse: Bluegrass, Old Time, Celtic, Balkan, Nordic, English, French, Cajun, Medieval/Renaissance, etc., etc., as well as new original music by singer-songwriters and instrumentalists.
