It is the third most expensive high school built in Canadian history, following Sir Thomas of Alton in Rendour, Saskatchewan and Georgetown Secondary in Georgetown, Ontario.The school name, in Latin, Corpus Christi, celebrates the Feast of the Body of Christ or the Eucharist.
