Our Mission "Cotea" will make its best effort to create a unique place where customers can enjoy the best quality loose -leaf tea and the best brewed coffee or espresso in town and special, completely different from local places food menu. We say: Great tea, perfect coffee, unforgettable cakes and food, friendly stores, and above-and-beyond customer service. "Cotea" is one of passion and discovery. Our products and services will suit the needs and desires of the modern well-traveled client. We will use all of our resources to create extraordinary products and cultivate genuine relationships with our customers. "Cotea" coffee and tea atelier will be a place to inspire and realize new and ever-evolving tastes and ideas. In this spirit, new products will be arriving regularly, including sumptuous shearling tea and coffee cozies. Cozies are an extremely useful component to the teapot but are often dowdy. We want to make them fashionable, even humorous. We fondly refer to them as 'wigs'." We will also offer tea "cupping" services on site, giving clients an opportunity to learn more about the product through a full-sensory experience. Small-batch tea blends will continue to evolve, reflecting the seasons and "Cotea" will be offering bespoke blending opportunities as well. Scent and flavor not only will bring back forgotten emotions and memories, but will envelope one in the present and influences mood. It's a powerful conduit. We read that tea is, essentially, a journey of water and we feel that's a wonderfully poetic sentiment and here we are first in Westbourne on a great journey thanks to tea.
