Cotswold Used Cars Ltd was founded by James who lives, breathes and sleeps cars. I have worked with some of the largest automotive companies in the world and ran my own large independent used car sales garage with a service centre and accident repair centre. This has given me an unbelievable knowledge of the industry and has made me aware of how to spot a good car and repair centre if I need it. As we all know cars do go wrong from time to time but its about how they are repaired and how you, The Customer, are looked after. Having had the ‘Shiny’ retail sites and offices with ever growing overheads, I decided to run a smaller company with a more personal approach. With the large overheads I had, my focus slipped from you, The Customer to a more financial perspective, i.e. what was best for the business and not you. Cotswold Used Cars Ltd is about the customer and profit has become a bi product. My values also changed when my children arrived, it really makes you look at life differently instead of the hungry young career driven man I was, wanting to be a millionaire and am now a father of 3 girls with a totally new direction. I believe my values and work ethics are of the best in the country, and I am very proud of this. I have built up a large stockpile and I do leave vehicles on a ‘Sale or Return’ basis with several garages, so not all my stock is advertised on my website. The stock you can see on my site will be sold to you from my company Cotswold Used Cars Ltd and I will welcome you to my garage office giving you full peace of mind that you are buying a decent vehicle from a trusted source. Sadly we all know this can be rare in the motor trade, something I would love to change. Your new vehicle will come with a 12 month MOT regardless of it having 1 month or 11 months left. Why do I do this? Because I want to know that I am supplying you with a road safe vehicle. It also acts like a 100-point check that some larger garages offer. You will also have a 30-day warranty under the new legislation (Consumer Rights Act 2015) and the terms and conditions of this will be handed over to you upon collection.
