Sometimes life can be a struggle and we find it hard to manage. Counselling can provide a confidential, accepting and empathic environment that can help you feel safe to talk about what it is that may be affecting or worrying you. It can also help with self awareness and enable you to gain a greater understanding of why you think, behave and feel the way you do. This can therefore help you to find better ways of coping and managing day to day life more effectively.For counselling to work it is important to feel safe, supported and respected and this is what I aim to provide along with being empathic and non-judgemental. Every person is unique and it is bearing this in mind that I have a flexible approach, working in ways most beneficial for each person. I work in a professional, friendly environment, offering both long and short term counselling. I have experience of working with people from all walks of life with a wide range of issues and problems such as depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship issues, self harm, anger and stress.
