(Special for volunteers only: please join our Country Doctor Youth Clinic Facebook group! http://bit.ly/rO50r The Country Doctor Youth Clinic (aka Country Doctor Teen Clinic) is dedicated to providing for the medical and social needs of street involved youth, ages 13 to age 23. The clinic operates two evenings per week to respectfully provide care at no cost to the youth, including labs tests as well as prescription and over-the-counter medications. The staff is University of Washington Adolescent Medicine faculty, resident physicians and medical students. In addition, volunteer complementary providers include a licensed acupuncturist and licensed massage therapist, who provide care under the supervision of the precepting physician. Our clinic is a small teaching clinic that has the luxury of taking the time to listen to our patients. On average, we see approximately 10 patients an evening. Each of these patients may receive multiple services.
