General Info

Since the 1950’s, the Davis Building has housed a salon in the heart of downtown Glasgow, Kentucky. Originally designed by New York salon designers as “Elsie’s on the Square“, this location quickly became the sought after destination for sophisticated hair designs. In 2009, The Cowans bought the historic 1,500 square foot space and after a complete renovation, opened their doors to a thoroughly modern, elegant and intimate salon. The new Cowan & Co. was designed in conjunction with interior designer, Jeff Sneed. The classic yet serene atmosphere is a timeless blend of luxurious modern furniture and restored styling stations, and accents hand-picked across the country by Sneed. Cowan & Co. serves as the creative stage for the Cowan’s exclusive showcase of expert stylists, colorist, technicians, and massage therapist. In addition to hair services, the studio offers various nail services, luxurious skin care treatments as well as a variety of massages.
