THERE IS GRACE FOR US! There are dark places in this life. Seasons when we’re searching for answers and finding none. Seasons when we’re reaching out to Him, yet we feel our faith in His promises slipping. Seasons that we just feel are lacking. Lacking in faith. Lacking in patience. Lacking in trust. We may not see the work He is doing in our heart, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. His grace finds us. His grace will keep us going. His grace will be sufficient even when our faith isn’t. “My grace is sufficient for you.” {2 Corinthians 12:9} In these times, He doesn’t let us go. God calls us to wait, He calls us to be patient. He meets us in this place. No matter what this season looks like, we are covered in abundant amounts of grace. Grace covers all things. Even in the darkness when we can’t see the light. He longs to lift us up and bring us to His light. “Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.” {Psalm 27:14} The way may not be clear, but He will not fail us. He does not give up on us. Be patient. Be trustful. He gives us full access to His grace every day. “For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.” {John 1:16} God is moving in our lives regardless of our ability to see it. There is grace for us. His love is beyond our comprehension. Allow Him to fill your heart. Christ can change us immeasurably through His grace. He covers us in the grace and healing we need. Bring yourself as close to Him as possible and stay there. Ask Him in faith and you will find grace even in the shadow of darkness, and His grace will change your life. Amazing grace. Day in and day out. by Jennifer, StudioJRU.

It is Better… - Roy Lessin It is better to be needy So He can give what’s best; It is better to be yielded So He can give you rest. It is better to be empty So He can be your all; It is better to be silent So you can hear His call. It is better to be humble So He can lift you up; It is better to be thirsty So He can fill your cup. It is better to be broken So He can make things new, It is better to have Jesus, Abundant within you! How much better to get wisdom than gold, and good judgment than silver! Proverbs 16:16 (NLT)

The Times In Which We Live - Roy Lessin In the uncertain times in which we are living, God wants us to live as people of faith. In a world that is shaking, we stand upon His unshakeable Kingdom; amidst fear, we have peace beyond understanding; amidst sorrow, we have joy unspeakable; amidst trouble, we have every comfort and consolation; amidst uncertainty, we have the blessed hope. The Bible reminds us to: Be watchful Be peaceful Be prayerful Be sober Be ready The Bible reminds us not to: Be fearful Be deceived Be troubled Be spiritually asleep Be weighed down with cares Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7 (NLT)

Someone Cares (Part 3) - Roy Lessin You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our Savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth. Psalm 65:5 NLT Because God cares for you… He understands—not just some of the things you are facing, but everything. He knows what you need—He is the God who provides and remains forever faithful. He will be your resting place—He is the God of all hope and all grace; He will keep your hope alive; He is the God of comfort, and will console you; He is the God of peace and will bring your heart to still waters. God Takes Care God takes care of the universe, the stars, and the heavenly host. God takes care of the oceans and the shores of every coast. God takes care of the flowers through the rain and morning dew. God takes care of everything, and He’ll take care of you!

Someone Cares - Roy Lessin God has strong shoulders and a caring heart! Our cares soon become distractions. They turn the focus of our trust away from who God is and His care for us. The cares of life are too heavy for us to carry. Their load will weigh us down. We do not have the strength to carry them, but we do have the strength (of faith) to cast them away. Only God has the power to carry them and keep us in peace. How many cares can you cast upon Him? ALL cares! Big cares and little cares, Present cares and cares about the future, Health cares, Job cares, Ministry cares, Financial cares, Caregiver cares, Family cares, Personal cares, Every care that troubles your heart, and every care that weighs you down. Difficulties and hardships do not mean that God does not care for you. In fact, it is often in the times of our greatest need that we discover the true depths of God’s loving care. Gods’ strongest grace is for your weakest moment; His sweetest fellowship is for your loneliest journey; His richest supply is for your neediest hour; His closest embrace is for your deepest pain; His brightest light is for your darkest day. You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our Savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth. Psalm 65:5 NLT

Differences - Roy Lessin To be a Christian is to be divinely different.—Rev. Ivan Murray Rose Among you it will be different. Luke 22:26 (NLT) To live the life God wants you to live means that your life will be different. It will be different from the times when you lived independent of His lordship, it will be different from the way the world system wants you to live, it will be different from the way the devil wants you to live, and it will different from the way many of the people you know want you to live. The life God has called you to live is one that is set apart. It is not a life that is different for the sake of being different, but different because of righteousness sake. To walk in step with God’s way means that you are no longer walking in step with your own way or any other way. It means that you are placing your feet in the exact footprints of the One you are following and not running off to follow side-trails. There are many differences to be found in a life that is following Christ. These differences are seen in our relationship with God, in our place in the world, in our purpose in life, in our personal goals, in our commitments, in our motives, in our values, in our choices, and in our beliefs. One of the greatest differences is found in the attitudes of our hearts: We are lovingly different—extending His love freely and unconditionally to others so they might be reconciled to the One whose love is unfailing. We are truthfully different—believing the truth and loving the truth, we speak the truth and live the truth so that others will come to know Him who is the Truth. We are mercifully different…knowing that God’s mercies are new every morning, we extend His mercies to those who have sinned against us, with the desire that each life may be reconciled to God through His Son. We are prayerfully different…we pray in faith, we pray because of who God is and what He can do, we pray because of what God has said in His promises, we pray because we have the assurance that God hears us and answers prayer, and we pray because God has made a way for us to come to Him through the blood of Jesus Christ. To open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in Me. Acts 26:18 (NLT) So whoever cleanses himself [from what is ignoble and unclean, who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences] will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work. 2 Timothy 2:21 (AMP)
