Description
Established in 2010 Creative Vandals owners Mat Lapping and Andy Walker opened up Hull's first custom studio. Mat has over 15 years of experience in tattooing. Andy after apprenticing for a year with Mat has now been tattooing full time for 7 years. Both quickly put the studio on the map nationally and internationally after picking up award after award! These awards include some of the most sought after in the game including best international male!! A few years down the line and nothing has changed the shop now has over 30 awards to its name from various conventions around the world! The shop has recently expanded firstly taking on Dane Grannon, a locally recognised talent. Dane fitted straight into the team instantly picking up awards and sponsorship. The diversity in Danes work is spectacular! Putting out anything from new school to black and grey, Realism to watercolour! The second addition was Helio Meniconi (Niorkz) who was also picking up recognition locally. Niorkz influences come from his homeland of Chile, were he started out from a graffiti based background. He soon put his name firmly in place at conventions around the world, picking up awards with the Creative Vandals team usually for his Custom Script!! He makes letters look less boring. The days of getting a simple name have changed and it is now a form of art! Just check his work for the individuality in each piece! Within this time we also took Nick on as a shop manager. Soon after he became our Laser Removal Technician. Now with over 2500 people registered with our laser department, we can offer a service of full removal, or as most people prefer, get rid of something bad and make way for something awesome!!!! Our studio is a family atmosphere, we are all good friends and welcome all of our clients. The vibe is relaxed, providing you guys with a professional service. A normal day includes sorting your design, then helping you relax with a few films, some music and a laugh with us!! Get in touch now!! When you send us a message across please try to be as descriptive as possible with your idea. As many pictures for reference as possible makes our job a lot easier, and we wont have to be pinning messages back and forth to sort your idea out! If you are from Hull or the local area then just drop into the shop!!!!! We are a very busy studio so theres not always time to answer your messages on the day! If you want an answer then come and chat with us, we are always willing to help somebody thats come by to see us!!
