The Capital Region's favourite sport The ACT Cricket Association began in 1922 as the Federal Territory Cricket Association and changed to the Federal Capital Territory Cricket Association in 1928. It wasn't until 1940 that we became the Australian Capital Territory Cricket Association (ACTCA). Cricket ACT resides on Level 2 of the Bradman Stand on the historic grounds of Manuka Oval. Nationally, Cricket ACT is represented by the ACT Comets in the mens Futures League Competition and by The Tradies Meteors in the Womens National Cricket League.
