Description

A bit about me: Hello, everyone! My name is Leonor and I am the owner and operator of Critter Sitters! I am currently a college student attending the University of South Florida, working on achieving my degree in Animal Biology. Except for a short time as a server at an Italian restaurant, I have always worked with and been surrounded by animals. As soon as I was old enough to work, I became a Kennel Technician at a veterinary hospital where I cared for animals that were there for boarding, grooming, and treatment. After two years there, I moved away, but I was able to find a job at another veterinary hospital as a Kennel Technician/Receptionist Assistant for another two great years. Throughout this time period, I also worked with a small pet sitting service, looking after animals in their own homes. In winter of 2013, I had the wonderful opportunity to complete an internship at a zoo working in the Elephant/White Rhino department where I learned and witnessed how they trained through positive reinforcement. I have experience caring for many different kinds of animals including dogs (of all sizes and breeds), cats, small birds, ferrets, tortoises/turtles, horses, goats, rabbits, hamsters, and other household pets. Price List: -Meet and greet Free -Basic service* for 1 pet $15.00/visit -Trip to the dog park $20.00 (not within walking distance) -Additional dog $3.00/visit -Additional cat $2.00/visit -Birds/Exotics/Farm $Please call -Pet Taxi (w/in 10 miles) $15.00 one way $25.00 round trip -Bath (cat or dog) $10.00 w/sitter fee -Mail/Newspaper collection included w/sitter fee. -All visits include free picture updates through Facebook, text, or email. *Depending on your pets needs, basic service includes feeding, fresh water, any meds necessary, potty breaks, clean ups, litter scoop/bedding change, and lots of love and affection! Some prices may be negotiable depending on the needs of you and your pets. References are available upon request.
