Description

Crown Medical Centre is a new bulk-billing medical facility located in Wollongong’s CBD and medical precinct. It is easily accessible by bus or train and street parking is available within walking distance. The medical centre provides a one-stop shop with general practitioners, practice nurses, on site pathology, radiology and pharmacy. It is staffed by very experienced doctors, administrative and nursing staff and plans to be accredited within 12 months and also become a credentialed teaching practice in the near future. There are seven good-sized consulting rooms, a treatment area with three cubicles, two waiting areas, a combined lunch and training room and offices for admin staff. The practice philosophy is “Our mission is to provide the highest standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach toward diagnosis and management of illness. We are committed to promoting health, well being and disease prevention to all patients. We do not discriminate in the provision of excellent care and aim to treat all patients with dignity and respect.” We have both male and female GPs who are experienced in providing quality family health care. Other services are men and women's health, minor surgery, health checks, chronic disease management, wound care, ECGs and spirometry, on site pathology and mental health, to name just a few. We are open from 8:000am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, as well as weekends and public holidays 8:00am-4:00pm. We are closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
