Dr. Tran, founder and creator of CrystalBraces has been a general dentist for over a decade around the Dallas, Texas area. In 2002, Dr. Tran kept running into situations where people really needed dental work, but either couldn't afford it, or just didn't have the time to really commit to all the dentist visits. This got him thinking "How can I help these patients? How can I make it so that EVERYONE can get the smile they need, and want?" Thus, CrystalBraces was born in early 2003. Dr. Tran took the resources of digital mapping and enhanced it making it 3D, allowing us to create more precise models and aligner trays. Dr. Tran skipped dealing with insurance companies and dentists so treatment programs could be more affordable for everyone. By taking out the middle man, he was able to cut the costs of treatment down by $4,000 - 5,000 where normally in the US, braces can range anywhere from $4,000 - $6,000. After using this concept throughout his clinics, patients found amazing results that were faster than normal bracketed braces. After copious amounts of positive results, Dr. Tran decided to make the brand and the product available to the public in 2013. Approached by companies such as Capital Venture Group, Dr. Tran decided to decline the billion dollar corporation's commercialism in order to keep our product and business Family Friendly and dedicated to the affordability through direct-to-consumer business.
