If you receive a phone call from Microsoft or Technical Support Department saying you have a problem with your computer its a scam and don't allow them access to your computer.
If your ADSL/telephone comes from the cabinet in Thurstonfield (Thurstonfield and Kirkbampton) you are now able to order fiber broadband.
Just a warning the latest update to iTunes update is in fact breaking iTunes with the most recent update for Windows Vista, 7 and 8. The only way to fix the problem seem to be to uninstall iTunes and re-install it again.
I've just had confirmation that the fibre cabinet for Thurstonfield/Kirkbampton is now just to get upgraded to fibre at the end of March 2015. "The Email from Connecting Cumbria Good afternoon Paul, I can confirm to you that that the Burgh By Sands exchange cabinet number 1 is currently estimated to become live and accepting orders by the end of March 2015, due to challenges getting the fibre connection to its location, however work is currently ongoing to resolve this issue." So hopefully not too long to wait.

It seems the 'Microsoft Tech Support Calls' are doing the rounds again. Microsoft will never contact you about a problem with your computer, if you receive a call just hang up.
We have expended the online backup offer until the end of October. We also have a backup solution on offer for £99.99. This included a 1TB Western Digital External Hard Drive.
