About me I am a passionate hair extension specialist, priding myself on providing excellent quality hair. My aim is to make you look and feel great as I am a mobile hair extensionist I can give you that great salon look without the salon price. Whether you are wanting the extensions for a special occasion or just to add length and volume I offer a free no obligation consultation where I will colour match your hair and we can discuss any questions you have beforehand. I can also explain the procedure of having them put in if you have never had extensions before and the aftercare needed to keep your extensions looking great. The Service I am fully insured and independent Hair Extension Specialist. I have no business premises which means I have no overhead costs which enables me to give you the most competitive price for hair extensions. I offer a mobile Hair Extension Service in the comfort of your own home. I am based in Lincoln and the surrounding areas. I use Indian Remy, Russian Remy and can supply Cinderella hair on request. The extensions I fit are real human hair and excellent quality. The techniques I use are fusion, pre-bonded, micro rings and shrinkies. As the hair extensions I provide you with are real hair they can be styled in any of the usual ways that you would normally style your own hair, hairdryer, straightners, tongs and heated rollers. Aslong as the hair is well looked after the extensions will last 3-4 months, and then can be used again for a refit. If you do not require a refit I offer a removal service please do not attempt to remove the extensions yourself as this can cause damage your hair. If the extensions are looked after and removed correctly they will cause no damage to your hair. I can also offer an aftercare package in order to keep your newly fitted hair in great condition. This includes cleansing shampoo and conditioner, conditioning sprays, heat protectors and extension hairbrushes. The above can also be provided separately if you do not require all of them. Types of Fitting I can offer three different types of fitting: •Pre-bonded fusion method - Pre tipped bonds are applied to the hair using a special heat connector. Even though this is a heat method of application providing the extensions are well taken care of, not left in the hair for longer than the recommended amount of time and then removed correctly they do not cause any damage to your natural hair. •Micro ring method - This is the most popular method, tiny rings made from metal (copper or nickel) which are available in various colours to match your natural hair are used to attach the bonds of extension hair. The rings are 3mm-4mm and are silicone lined to prevent slipping and breakage. These last much longer than other micro rings. With good aftercare the rings can be re positioned and used again with the extension hair. •Shrinkies method - This is a cross between the fusion method and the micro ring method. Small plastic tubes are used to apply the extension strands which shrink when heat is applied using a special heat connector. They are light weight and small, which is good for clients with thin or fine hair and can last 2-3 months with good aftercare.This method is great for brides who may be having an up-do. Please note: This method is not suitable for people going on holiday to very warm places as the extreme heat can cause the bonds to melt.
