Curtin Stadium officially opened in October 2009 with a state-of-the-art co-ed gymnasium covering 900 square metres, a separate ladies only gym, large group fitness area and spin room. It also houses a multi-purpose sports hall with three courts and retractable seating for 2000 guests. A range of affordable memberships are available, allowing a combination of gym and group fitness classes for maximum health benefits. A free initial and quarterly follow-up appraisal and program is available for all memerbship types by one of our qualified personal trainers. Curtin Stadium is also a versatile function centre with a vast array of audiovisual and sound equipment allowing the sports hall to be transformed for University and community events. Previous functions have included examinations, major public addresses, sporting championships and fashion shows. Our established Exercise Physiology Services is run by Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) who are university qualified allied health professionals specialising in the delivery of exercise & lifestyle modification programs. AEPs treat and manage a broad range of clinical conditions, including musculoskeletal rehabilitation, diverse chronic diseases and return to work programming. Services include functional assessments and supervised exercise sessions.
