Description
As a fully qualified early years teacher I know the importance of play and especially the benefits of sensory messy play. I also have over 13 years of experience teaching children with special educational needs. Sensory play is an integral part of my teaching and the development and skills learnt from using it can be seen in the progression my children make. Children can develop a whole range of skills by exploring through a variety of sensations and experiences. There is no wrong or right answer to messy play and there is no expected outcome relieving anxiety for some children with its open ended style of learning. Language development can also be reinforced and developed through messy play with open ended questioning and the exploration of the equipment. Most importantly the group will be a relaxed session that will see children and parents having fun and getting messy together without the stress of tidying up the house!!
