Getting into the Information Security field is very difficult. Nine years ago I transitioned from a Windows Systems Engineer into Cyber Security; I had a plan and executed it. It took hard work and patience as I gained the education and skills needed achieve my goal of becoming an Information Security professional; and I did it!. My journey has given me an good insight to entering the IT security field that can give you an edge and make your career in Cyber Security successful. As and Information Technology industry leader , I have given advice and mentored many Technology professionals, which has allowed them to change careers and get into Information Security with much success. In addition, I have taught college students taking Cyber Security courses and in addition to teaching them, I mentored my students to in proven ways to distiquish themselves from other students competing with against them for Cyber Security positions.
