James Beard Award-Winning Chef Michael Schwartz's American Grill & Cocktail Bar is for those of us who crave delicious food, top notch service and a comfortable place to gather over a great meal. Enjoy Dinner and Weekend Brunch with menus that evoke the simplicity of classic brasserie fare and play to a classy, lively experience in a room like no other. Cypress Tavern is now open at 3620 Northeast 2nd Avenue in Miami's Design District. Walk ins are welcome, but please call 305.520.5197 or email reservations@cypresstavern.com to book. Dinner: Tuesday to Thursday 6PM - 11PM, Friday and Saturday until 12AM, and Sunday until 10PM. Weekend Brunch: Saturday and Sunday 11AM - 3PM. Closed Monday. $5 Design District Valet is available, as well as street parking in the city lot in between 37th and 38th street. For dinner, enjoy wood grilled giant prawns, leeks vinaigrette and the restaurant’s infamous Cypress Burger made with dry aged beef trimmings and topped with farmstead Jasper Hill Landaff cheese and onion marmalade. Brunch ups the stakes with Weekend Cocktails including a strawberry fizz featuring rum from a local distillery and Kaffir lime syrup made from the leaves of Michael's backyard tree.
