Dainty Designs is a gift shop run by me (Amira Zubairi). I am studying journalism at Ryerson University, and although writing is my passion, I've always had an interest in the area of arts and crafts. How did Dainty Designs Start? It all started with a mug. Back in first year, I wanted to make something creative for a gift exchange and came across the idea of making handcrafted mugs. After sharing my idea with some friends and family, we thought this would be a great way to turn some simple supplies into creative and unique gifts for our loved ones! Through Dainty Designs, I hope to provide each customer with the perfect gift for their loved ones, near and far, with quality paints and creative designs. I love creativity and I look forward to hearing what amazing ideas I get from my customers! {Process} All items are hand painted by me. They are heat cured (mugs are baked in the oven) to be as durable as possible. Items are completely customizable, unique and long lasting! Why Dainty Designs? The word dainty, means small, delicate and pretty and that perfectly describes the essence of the mugs I create. They are small, with delicate and beautiful designs. With this venture, I hope that my handcrafted gifts will help love and smiles grow between families, friends, coworkers, siblings and more! There is nothing more rewarding that seeing someone smile after looking at something that was personalized, just for them! As a new venture, I will begin with mugs but hope to add new and exciting products based on what YOU guys want!
