AT&T Stadium, previously known as Cowboys Stadium, is a city-owned stadium with a retractable roof in Arlington, Texas, United States. It serves as the home of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. It replaced the partially covered Texas Stadium, which opened in 1971 and served as the Cowboys' home through the 2008 season. It was completed on May 27, 2009. The facility can also be used for a variety of other activities outside of its main purpose (professional football) such as concerts, basketball games, college football and high school football contests, soccer matches, and motocross races. The stadium is sometimes referred to as "Jerry World" after Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who originally envisioned it as a large entertainment mecca. The stadium seats 80,000, making it the third largest stadium in the NFL by seating capacity. The maximum capacity of the stadium, including standing room-only capacity, is 105,121. The Party Pass (open areas) sections are behind seats in each end zone and on a series of six elevated platforms connected by stairways. It also has the world's largest column-free interior and the fourth largest high definition video screen, which hangs from 20-yard line to 20-yard line.Construction and designThe stadium was designed by the Dallas architectural firm HKS, Inc. Besides the Cowboys, the new stadium is used by college football teams and other organizations for other sporting and non-sporting events. The Cotton Bowl Classic was moved to the stadium beginning in 2010.

Rise&Surge
Arlington , VA Local Arlington Fields United States

About the Program: Rise&Surge is a workout program designed to increase speed, agility, and fast twitch muscle movement. It is run during the summer to get student athletes ready for their upcoming sports seasons. Yorktown Alumni, John and David Bernhardt, will be holding workout sessions throughout the summer. The program will start in May. Who We Are: John and David Bernhardt are brothers who graduated from Yorktown High School in 2009 and 2011, respectively. They both competed in football and baseball at the varsity level. David is pursuing a degree in Business Management at James Madison University and has a passion for competing in sports. He has experience with speed training both as a participant and as an instructor. Last summer, David held regular sessions for about 25 different Middle school and High school aged athletes. Several of the High school athletes went on to become top varsity contenders, and a few served as Yorktown varsity football captains. John plans on graduating this spring from James Madison with a degree in Health Sciences and a focus in Pre-Physical Therapy. He is also passionate about sports and exercise sciences. He is currently pursuing an ISSA certification in personal training and plans on attending graduate school for physical therapy. He focuses on understanding human biomechanics to improve athletic performance. Both John and David play on intramural football and basketball teams together in college as a way to satisfy their competitive spirit and love for sports. Speed training is something that they are both passionate about, and they love being with guys that are a few years younger to hopefully impart the knowledge they gained during their high school years. More Details About the Rise&Surge: Sessions are given 5 days a week and 3-4 times a day. 3-4 sessions per week are recommended if you are looking to really improve your speed and agility. The program is great for all sports. Sessions are $20 per student. As of now the locations of the program include Greenbrier Field (Yorktown High School), Williamsburg Middle School Field, and a few other fields in the Arlington area.
