In December, 2008, Paula Cramer and Marianne McEvoy decided to sponsor a happy hour event for local spa directors. The idea had come from long time industry professional, Terri Beckham, Spa Director for the Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa, who had been in town only a few short months. The three had decided it was time to re-connect with long time spa friends and establish a network with some new ones. With over 18 years of combined spa industry experience, both Paula and Marianne had the event organized within days. Over thirty five local spa professionals came together for an evening of fun. With the enthusiasm and participation that it generated, it became very obvious that an ongoing forum was essential to build a network within the community to exchange ideas and continue to understand and lead the way in industry trends.
