Darius A. Felton was a young man that possessed a profound sense of wisdom, and shared this God sent blessing with many.

Description

Darius enjoyed life to the fullest, among the things he enjoyed were; animals, sports and many other things that allowed him to share unique parts of himself. However, most of all Darius loved people his family was his passion. Because of this unconditional love, we as Darius’ family wanted to keep a part of Darius alive and continue to share him with the world. Darius was the victim of a violent murder on his 15th birthday August 2002. He was shot in his community. In his memory, and to celebrate his life a scholarship foundation has been established to assist high school seniors who are interested in attending college. This annual scholarship will be awarded to four high school graduates that have been accepted and will be attending college in the upcoming fall semester. Each student will receive a $500.00 scholarship to the college of their choice.
