Description
Situated in Wilderness Lane this secondary school was built in 1965, opening in July 1966, by West Bromwich Metropolitan Council and served Sandwell and part of Birmingham. The school's final head teacher was Mrs Caroline Badyal. She arrived on a secondment from the Dormston School in Sedgley in September 2002, and received the job on a permanent basis in April 2003. She is the Chief Executive (Principal) of Q3 Academy that replaced Dartmouth High School in September 2008. The last students left Dartmouth on the 11th July 2008, Q3 Academy opened in the Dartmouth building whilst the new Academy was built.
