The Darwin Convention Centre is a modern, world-class venue with spectacular views over Darwin Harbour, in the tropical capital city of the Northern Territory. Set in a lush tropical setting, the Darwin Convention Centre is the centre-piece of the Darwin Waterfront Precinct, just minutes from Darwin’s city centre. An excellent selection of quality accommodation, stylish cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops along with parkland, wave lagoon pool and sheltered sandy beach are on the doorstep of the Centre. Managed by AEG Ogden, the Darwin Convention Centre spans a total floor area of 22,900 square metres and offers a range of event spaces suitable for large conferences, trade exhibitions, gala banquets, functions, meetings, exciting special events and intimate dinners to suit 10 to 4,000 patrons. All under one roof and fully air-conditioned year-round for comfort, the Centre’s multi-purpose and flexible event spaces include an auditorium, halls, function rooms, meeting spaces and foyers. In addition, there are large and intimate outdoor spaces to create themed special events that take advantage of the tropical weather and magnificent waterfront views. How To Get to Darwin Convention Centre
Darwin International Airport is located 13 km for the CBD. Registered taxis and shuttle bus services are available 24 / 7 to take delegates to city hotels and the Darwin Convention Centre. Delegates staying at city hotels can leisurely walk to the Darwin Convention Centre within 15 minutes via the elevated ‘Sky Bridge’ to the Darwin Waterfront Precinct. Public buses operate seven days a week including public holidays. All bus routes travel into the CBD with bus route 14 travelling to the Darwin Waterfront and the Darwin Convention Centre.
