Description

Dashin' Hounds was established in Carrickfergus in 1996. In its first year it won, its owner Christina Jones the Shell Livewire Young Business Person of the Year (NE). Dashin' Hounds Belfast branch was opened in 1999 in Ballyhackamore and moved to its current address in Dundonald in 2003. In 2004 Dashin' Hounds in Carrickfergus was sold so that Christina could concentrate on the Belfast salon as well as starting a dog groomer training school for those who wished to take up grooming as profession. Christina has had 15 years experience. She has attained a City & Guilds 7750 in Advanced dog grooming, L.C.G.I , has attended numerous training seminars to hone her skills over the years and is currently completing her Higher Diploma. She runs very successful dog grooming courses for people wishing to set up their own business and has bred and shown Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. Currently lives and loves Harley (black Russian terrier) Otis (scwt) and Issy (blue roan cocker). Over the last 9 years the training school has grown and we are proud to say many of the dog grooming salons throughout Ireland, across the water and as far as Australia have all learned their skills at Dashin' Hounds.
