Fredrik Andersson Bio Fredrik Andersson is a highly respected Harley Street professional with over 15 years of experience, and a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, oral surgery and facial cosmetic procedures. Dr. Andersson’s unique skills, expertise and artistic abilities have won him a significant celebrity clientele of international recording artists, sports personalities, television and film stars, presenters, artists, models, authors and theatre actors from Europe and the United States. He is the founder and Managing Director of Dental Studio 22 located at 22 Harley Street in London; a state-of-the-art facility offering high quality cosmetic, restorative and general dental care, and facial aesthetics treatments. Born in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1972, Dr. Andersson received his degree in dentistry in 1997 from the Institute of Odontology at the University of Gothenburg, one of the world’s leading institutions for dental research and education. During his studies at the University of Gothenburg, he received a number of prestigious awards and distinctions, lectured medical and dental students on microanatomy, and conducted brain research. Dr. Andersson moved to London in 1997 and worked for a number of years in both his private dental practice and as a member of the medical team of the University College London Hospital; providing essential dental and oral medicine and oral surgical treatments to patients with significant special medical needs and dental conditions. Dr. Andersson combines his artistic abilities with his dental expertise in a process he refers to as “Extreme Bonding.” He began developing the process while in dental school and has perfected it over his years of practice. Through “Extreme Bonding”, Dr. Andersson transforms a patient’s smile in a matter of hours by adding bonding material to, and sculpting each tooth by hand for a truly amazing result without the damage to the healthy tooth typically required for veneer treatments. Of course, some cases require veneers treatments and Dr. Andersson provides the latest range of veneers to give patients a perfect, natural smile. Dr. Andersson trained in dental implants at the Implant Training Institute on Harley Street in 2001, and has since successfully restored missing teeth for hundreds of patients as part of restorative and cosmetic treatments. In 2002, Dr Andersson trained in facial aesthetics treatments and offers his patients a wide range of dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments to enhance their appearance and promote collagen production, as a significant part of his practice. Dr. Andersson also uses the “Invisalign” system as a virtually undetectable method of straightening teeth and an alternative to unsightly and uncomfortable conventional braces. He also uses the latest teeth whitening methods to safely and quickly whiten teeth and remove stains, for a more youthful appearance.
