Description

The Denver Language School is a K-8 language immersion public charter school located at 451 Newport St. in East Denver, and is building toward a full school from the Kindergarten level. The Denver Language School provides an innovative academic program to reach the highest levels of student achievement through comprehensive language immersion education. Our school follows a total language immersion process with Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. Denver Language School offers traditional learning activities in the target language, making the language both the medium of instruction and the object of instruction. The meal program consists of healthy lunches (free or reduced for qualified participants) and a free breakfast for any student. Daily bus transportation is available in northeast Denver. The extended day program offers tutoring, enrichment classes and the Denver Public School-sponsored Kaleidoscope Corner program. * tuition-based, full-day kindergarten program; morning kindergarten is tuition-free
