Our Head Start program promotes school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children. At no cost to you.
Our Head Start program promotes school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social and other services to enrolled children and families. We engage parents in their children's learning and help them in making progress toward their educational, literacy, and employment goals. Our method is to work with the whole child, so that the child truly has a head start in their education and is prepared to be a lifelong learner. We offer full and part day programs for children at no cost to the parents. We place major emphasis on working with the whole family through our Family Services department. Available slots fill quickly and Head Start performance standards require us to accept children with the greatest need first. It is very important that you contact us as soon as possible so that we can begin the eligibility/enrollment process. Head Start provides enrollment of eligible children regardless of race, sex, creed, color, national origin, or disabling conditions.
