'DEVI' is Sanskrit for the core form of every Hindu goddess. A Devi is the most vivid and traditional Indian symbol of female strength and empowerment. We are a social enterprise with two simple aims - to bring you exciting food from the streets of India and to build free education schools for their girls. Whether it's our homemade pickles and chutneys, locally sourced organic veggies or south London artisan bread, we strive to bring you distinct Indian street food made from bold British ingredients. Our first project is building a sustainable free school in the desert state of Rajasthan. We are dedicated to bring about free education, gender equality, women's empowerment and life skills workshops to encourage changemakers and builders of sustainable communities. Find us on Sundays at Maltby Street Market (SE1) and Saturdays at Tottenham Green Market (N17).
