The Diocesan Resource Centre Extended Christmas Shopping Days Beginning on November 1st, the Diocesan Resource Centre will be open each Saturday right up to December 20th for your shopping convenience. Are you tired of Christmas cards that say Season’s Greetings? Are you looking for that special gift that reflects the true meaning of Christmas? Do you need a book that helps explain how Santa fits into the season? How about a book or two to guide you through Advent? Or, maybe a first Nativity for the newlywed’s home? The Diocesan Resource Centre has a beautiful range of traditional Christmas Nativities; from large pieces suitable for a Church, elegant nativities for your home, a plush crèche complete with playful characters, BibleToys Children’s Nativity Playset and Nativity ornaments for your Christmas tree. There are many styles of Advents wreaths and candles as well as devotional and daily reading books for Advent 2014. Also available a large assortment of Advent Bible studies for group or individual study. Whether decorating a room or a home, you will find angels, crosses, birds, candles, home decor as well as some of the most inspiring ornaments to add to your collection or to give to that special someone. The Kneeling Santa and A Special Place for Santa books, ornaments and statues depict Santa, humbly kneeling before the greatest gift ever given, the Baby Jesus in His manger. The Resource Centre sells only religious Christmas cards. Individual cards for family and friends or boxes of 12, 18 & 24 cards; they all contain scripture that shares the good news of our Saviours birth. A reminder to also see the large selection of 2015 Religious Calendars. Psalms, Songbirds and Garden Blessings are but a few of the designs available.
