Description

Dr Ma specialises in general obstetrics and gynaecology, with a special interest and experience in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic) for severe endometriosis, pelvic masses, hysterectomy and myomectomy. Dr Ma will also provide colposcopy and general gynaecological services. Dr Ma will manage normal and high risk pregnancies, delivering at St John of God Healthcare, Geelong. Dr Ma graduated with MBBS (Hons) in Perth 2004. He obtained his FRANZCOG in 2015 after working in hospitals in Perth, the Northern Territory, Sydney and Melbourne. Dr Ma then completed additional post-fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery, completing a 2 year Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society (AGES) training program in gynaecological endoscopy at Mercy Hospital for Women, Melbourne. He has moved with his family to the Geelong region with the intention to practice locally long term. To enable prioritisation of bookings, appointments will be made only on receipt of a referral, along with any relevant results. When all information has been received by mail, fax, email or in person, we will then contact the patient to arrange an appointment. Dr Ma has admitting rights at St John of God, Geelong Private and Epworth Geelong hospitals and will have regular private operating lists at all three locations.
