Description

I'm Brad Jaffe, the founder and owner of Dogological. For years I have held a desire to create a complete at-home dog teaching program that instructs dog owners on how they can have well-mannered dogs through compassionate and simple teaching techniques. I have been teaching dogs and their humans for over 15 years and have developed the Dogological method from my work with over 6,500 dogs. I was tired of hearing stories of dogs being "trained" through unnecessary harsh and abusive training methods, so I have found a simple way of communicating with dogs in a way that they understand. Using the Dogological Method of training builds cooperative, mutually beneficial relationships, stronger bonds, well mannered dogs that enjoy learning with a great sense of confidence in both human and dog. Dogological reassures people that they can have a well mannered dog as part of the family and can still love and spoil them. By teaching people how to properly communicate to their four legged children and by dispelling the common myths and “rules” that have become “dog law” people breathe a big sigh of relief when they hear that it’s okay to let your dog in the bed or on the couch or that it’s okay for them to walk in front of you...to let them be a dog. To create a paradigm shift in the minds of dog owners across the globe from an antiquated Master/Servant approach to dog training to a common sense, cooperative method that allows the dogs to become willing, cooperative components to their own We achieve this by empowering dog owners with the knowledge of how to clearly communicate with their dogs in a way that the dogs understand. With the simple techniques they will learn, their dogs will literally teach themselves to do any basic obedience exercise that their owner wishes to teach them. By being patient and allowing the dogs the time to use their natural problem solving ability, the reliance on force, intimidation or bribery is no longer needed. By using their natural tendencies and skills for their own training, the dogs have purpose and problem solving skills that can easily be focused and utilized for any other training.
