In 2012 Rev. Curry Blake, General Overseer of John G. Lake Ministries, planted a church in Plano, TX. "Dominion Life" is that church. Dominion Life exists to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, to edify the Body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man - to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ. (Eph 4:12-13) It exists to fulfill the great commission that The Lord Jesus Christ left us with. Dominion Life is a body of believers (near and far) who "can't just sit on the pews" every Sunday. They're active, wanting to move forward and make a difference with their lives. (Those who are a great distance from Plano, TX can watch the Live Webstream Sunday mornings at 10:00am CST. With near daily outreaches and missions in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, as well as regularly scheduled international missions, the people who make up "Dominion Life" are always moving and "advancing on all fronts." Dominion Life is a unique church in that not one dime of any proceeds, donations, etc. go to paying staff. Every penny that comes in goes directly to our outreach programs which involve feeding the hungry and helping widows, orphans, the poor, and young girls and boys trapped in sex trafficking. After the message each Sunday we have outreaches to various locations including down town Dallas to minister to the hungry (Feeding Jesus Outreach) and to local nursing homes where we minister room to room, bringing life and hope to seemingly hopeless situations (Nursing Home Outreach). These outreaches are open for all to come - visitors, family, friends, experienced, and beginners alike. If you're wanting to get your feet wet, these are great opportunities. You desire be trained in and for the work of the ministry so you can do the works of Jesus Christ and train others to do the same... You'd rather know what Jesus Christ knows and walk like He walks than just hear of others who are living it... You want to be obedient to the great commission that our Lord left us with, to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to know and to do all that I have commanded you."...
