Description
Dorp is een sneltramhalte van RandstadRail en een voormalig NS-spoorwegstation in Zoetermeer aan de Zoetermeer Stadslijn. Het werd geopend op 22 mei 1977.Met ingang van 3 juni 2006 werd het station tijdelijk gesloten, om verbouwd te worden tot sneltramhalte in het kader van het lightrailproject RandstadRail. De perrons zijn ingekort en deels verlaagd en het station heeft hellingbanen en liften gekregen.Dorp werd alleen een halte van RandstadRail 3. Deze lijn reed alleen nog linksom over de krakeling, waardoor Dorp niet meer als een van de eerste, maar als een van de laatste haltes in Zoetermeer werd aangedaan. Om toch een snelle verbinding te hebben kan men overstappen op Voorweg of Centrum-West.De halte werd op 27 oktober 2007 in gebruik genomen door RandstadRail 3.Foto's
