"My passion for hair started at an early age watching my grandmother in her In-Home Salon. Such a down to earth and loving feeling she gave to her clients which in return they loved her for more than just being their hair stylist. She taught me that everyone deserves 100% service and a piece of 7up cake which was always available." With the constant relocating in the Navy, Jamellia offered a mobile hair care service for military service members and their families on and off base during her time in the Navy. Jamellia decided in 2008, it was time to focus and pursue her passion for healthy hair care upon retiring in 2009. Down 2 Earth Salon was created to provide the same quality services for Natural Hair & Locs to the public, and with over 9 years of experience, she is still in love with kinks, curls and knots. She also has experience in Theatrical Hair and Makeup. Jamellia relocated from Houston, Texas to Tulsa 3 years ago to be closer to family. Offering Goldwell hair color, Brazilian blowouts (certified), scalp treatments, braiding, eyebrows and lash services. Some of a few products that are used in the salon are Aquage, Sebastian and Biomega products.
