Writing opportunity! Next term a New Writers' Festival will be held in Downing's Howard Theatre. We are looking for new one act plays, running at no longer than 20 minutes, to be submitted at the start of next term. The best submissions will be staged and watched by a panel of top industry professionals (confirmed names to be announced in the coming weeks) who will then offer advice and feedback. The winner's prize will include an opportunity to develop the writing further, further details to follow. Get those pens scratching and await further announcements!
FRESHERS' PLAY AUDITIONS ARE OPEN! First Years - Come audition for a host of fantastic roles in 'The Accrington Pals' by Peter Whelan. Josh McClure is directing this year and he will be holding auditions in the downstairs of Butterfield Bar for two days this week. Tuesday 2-5pm Wednesday 2-5pm. Look forward to seeing you there.
