Allison Maloney received her Doctorate of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Oshio College of Acupuncture and Herbology, in Victoria, British Columbia. She passed the National Acupuncture licensing exam (Pan-Canadian) and is a registered Acupuncturist with the Newfoundland Association (CTCMPANL). She is also certified in Facial Rejuvenation, which she completed in September 2011. Allison is passionate in understanding the complexity of the human mind and body, and emphasizes how pain not only affects the physical body but also the mind and spirit, which are all interconnected. When there is a disorder, there becomes a disruption of the smooth flow of vital energy, but with the help of Chinese Medicine it can be restored back to its normal harmonious flow. Allison recognizes that finding the uniqueness of each patient is the fundamental concern of a true healer. She blends Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine along with other Chinese Medical techniques, to balance energy flow in the body and promote its innate ability to heal itself.
