I am a skilled physician and am known around the valley and state as a Bariatric and Aesthetic Skin Physician. We focus on non-invasive cosmetic treatments (Botox®, Dysport®, Juvederm®, Volbella®, Voluma®) helping to change each patient’s appearance and life. As a Weight Loss Physician (Bariatrician) and long-standing member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, I believe in using a multi-faceted approach combining a balance of nutrition, activity, proper vitamin supplementation, and medications to help my patients shed the the extra weight. When indicated, Dr. Knighton will monitor and oversee the medical treatment and use of FDA approved prescription medications (i.e. phentermine, phendimetrazine, and/or diethylpropion). Bariatric physicians can specifically design individualized medical weight loss programs that are tailored to the needs of individual patients. If needed, they can modify the programs as the treatment progresses. A physician-supervised medical weight loss program may be the safest and wisest way to not only lose weight but maintain the weight loss long-term.
