Dr. Underberg, a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine and the NYU Center for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention, is a nationally recognized expert in cardiovascular disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of cholesterol and hypertensive disorders. Along with a private practice, he is the Director of the Bellevue Hospital Lipid Clinic. He is the current President-Elect of the National Lipid Association and serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Clinical Lipidology. Fellowships include the American College of Preventive Medicine, the Society of Vascular Medicine, the National Lipid Association and the American College of Physicians.
