Welcome to my professional page! Here you will find educational information about health promotion, fitness, injury prevention and Chiropractic. About Dr. Spencer: I was born and raised in Waterloo and currently residing in Cambridge, Ontario. I obtained my Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree from McMaster University in 2009. I worked as a Kinesiologist in a variety of rehabilitation-based clinics alongside Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and Massage Therapists within the Greater Toronto Area and Waterloo Region. From there I decided to further my education and pursue a career in Chiropractic. I attended the highly regarded Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto which included four years of extensive academic education and clinical training. I graduated from CMCC with distinctions Cum Laude and Clinical Honours to obtain my Doctor of Chiropractic in June 2015. About My Practice: My practice style consists of a variety of evidence-informed treatment approaches that includes manual and soft-tissue therapy, laser as well as other therapeutic modalities, rehabilitative exercises and patient education. I work and communicate with a variety of health care professionals and understand the importance of collaborative healthcare for the best interests of my patients. I encourage and inspire my patients to be proactive with their care and overall health. I enjoy working with them to achieve their functional and fitness goals no matter how small or grand they are. I pride myself on providing my patients with a variety of treatment options based on best evidence to ensure that the care they receive is right for them.
