Dr. Lisa Valent has a solid track record in treating digestive disorders (IBS, IBD, celiac, constipation, diarrhea, parasites, bloating), mood imbalances, and many other conditions where a holistic approach applies. She fuses science based therapies with functional medicine, genetics, hands-on bodywork, nutrition, detoxification, lifestyle, and mindfulness techniques to get the results that you need. When you work with Dr. Lisa you will learn more than imaginable about your body so that you have tools for life and are not reliant on a doctor to feel your best. When Dr. Lisa first discovered naturopathic medicine in her mid-20s she was hit with a profound 'aha!' that her life's purpose could be summarized so well with the medicine. She firmly believes in eating whole fresh foods; creating a close & empowering community to surround one's self with; finding the most fulfilling work; getting regular movement with the body that enhances its flow; and honoring the body's need for laughter & rest. Dr. Lisa lives in the NW getting the most of the city beat in Seattle & the wilderness on Vashon Island. She practices as functional medicine practitioner, teaches workshops on wellness, and holds detoxification programs to jump start people's health. Her passions are working with whose who want to achieve the highest state of functioning with spirited energy, and active mind, and a (nearly) ageless body.
