Dr. Shavonda Pannell is a licensed Chiropractor in the state of Oklahoma. She has always had a passion for helping others and finds much satisfaction in doing so through the art of Chiropractic. Dr. Pannell specializes in the treatment of cumulative trauma disorders of the upper extremity, lower extremity, neck and low back. She has received specialized training and credentialing in Active Release Technique and utilizes it in the treatment of most soft tissue injuries. The Active Release Technique Soft Tissue Management System provides a way for her to diagnose and treat underlying etiology of cumulative trauma disorders, acute injuries that may cause symptoms and numbness, tingling, burning pain, and impaired movement that result in decreased biomechanic performance. This technique is used in conjunction with chiropractic manipulative procedures to address the many soft tissue injuries. It is her belief as a healthcare provider that it is her responsibility to provide patients with the best possible care available. Many conditions are best addressed with a multi-disciplinary approach. Through the use of chiropractic treatments and the Active Release Technique she has had great success with treating muscle and joint dysfunction. By evaluating all aspects of a patients’ injury from proper ergonomics to preventative post-release stretching exercise.
