Welcome to the Dual Career Service at Radboud University! We understand that talented prospective staff often have accompanying spouses or partners who may also wish to further their careers and we offer the guidance they need when moving to a new country and city. Our goal is to ensure that your transition to life as part of the Radboud University is as comfortable as possible. The Dual Career service assists in building up a new social and professional network, seeking employment and we offer support for adjusting to daily life in a new environment. Our services are individually tailored and include: • Tailored career consulting and preparation for the local labour market for accompanying spouses or partners • Assistance in professional development through CV workshops, further study opportunities and help building up a network. • Relocation research: From finding the right school or day care for your children to locating sport clubs or dog parks. We are here to help you feel welcome and happy so do not hesitate to ask questions that are important to you. • Fun activities to get to know the Nijmegen area and to help building a social network. You are eligible for our Dual Career Service if your partner or spouse is a Radboud University staff member, you are considering relocating to Nijmegen or have done so in the past two years and you are looking for work for the first time in the Nijmegen area or the Netherlands. Assistance will last for up to one year or until the applicant secures their first regular job, whichever comes first. Our University holds family friendly policy in high regard and our Dual Career Officer is more than willing to give guidance, resources and referrals to the national and international Radboud University Community and their families.
