Description
Duke EMS is a student-run BLS agency serving the Duke University campus, including athletic facilities, hospital clinics, and academic/residential buildings. We respond to all 911 medical and traumatic emergencies, and work closely with Duke University Police, Durham County EMS, and Durham Fire Department to provide our patients with the highest quality pre-hospital care possible. Our 25-30 volunteer EMTs and paramedics provide Duke's campus with 24/7 coverage during the academic year, as well as business-hours coverage during summer months and additional staffing for special events.
